Call for Panel Sessions

APSCOM 2025 invites experts and professionals from academia and industry to submit Panel Session proposals for presentation at the APSCOM 2025.

Panel Sessions will provide a unique platform for professionals, practitioners, and academics to share their in-depth knowledge and experiences on important topics related to the theme: Embracing Next Generation Technologies towards a Flexible, Reliable, Resilient & Sustainable Power Grid. These sessions aim to address the challenges and innovations in building resilient, adaptive, and sustainable power and energy systems through interdisciplinary collaboration, technological advancements, and policy integrations.

Submission proposals are due on 16th August, 2025 and must be emailed to Prof. Siqi BU at siqi.bu@polyu.edu.hk

Panel Session Requirements

  • Duration: 1 hours 15 min
  • Suggested Number of Presentations in one Panel Session: 3 to 4.
  • Technical Approval: All Panel Sessions must receive prior approval from the relevant APSCOM 2025 Organizing Committee and Technical Committee

Submission Guidelines

Each Panel Session proposal should include the following information:

  • Title of the Panel Session
  • Abstract/description of the Panel Session (approximately 150 words)
  • Indication of Selected Topic Track (shown below)
  • Chair(s) and co-Chair(s) name(s), email(s) and short biography (approximately 150 words per presenter)

Topics of Interest

Panel Session proposals should align with the overall theme of the conference and cover a broad spectrum of topics relevant to modern power and energy systems. Suggested topic tracks include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Management and Planning
  • Operation and Control
  • Energy End Use
  • Next Generation Technology
  • Policy & Market

Submission Deadline

  • Proposals must be submitted by 16th August, 2025, emailed to Prof. Siqi BU at siqi.bu@polyu.edu.hk
  • All submissions will undergo a review process conducted by the APSCOM 2025 Organizing Committee and Technical Committee. Shortlisting results of the proposals will be announced by 1st September, 2025
  • The Chair(s) of selected Panel Sessions will be responsible for inviting and reviewing presentations in their own sessions. The suggested deadline for finalizing the Panel Sessions is 15th September, 2025
