Call for Special Sessions
The APSCOM 2025 Organizing Committee warmly invites researchers and experts worldwide to submit proposals for Special Sessions (SS) related to the conference themes. If you are interested in organizing a Special Session, please refer to the following requirements and contact Prof. Siqi Bu (siqi.bu@polyu.edu.hk) or Dr. Shuangqi Li (shuangqi.li@polyu.edu.hk).
Special Session proposals will be reviewed until the submission deadline. Early submission is encouraged to allow sufficient time for paper preparation and submission. Each proposal should include the following information:
- Title of the Special Session
- Key topics covered (5–10 research areas)
- A short description of the session theme (around 100 words), focusing on recent research progress or application challenges
- Names, affiliations, and contact details of at least two organizers
- A short introduction to each organizer’s background
- A list of potential paper contributors with their names, affiliations, and email addresses (5–15 people)
- A brief CV of the proposer(s)
To ensure academic quality and diversity, each Special Session must meet the following basic requirements:
- At least five accepted papers
- Papers must be authored by researchers from at least three different institutions (excluding the organizers’ affiliations)
- Authors must be from at least two different countries or regions
